We will have a goat field day on September 17th 2011 for anyone that wants to come!  We will be washing, drying, clipping, trimming hooves, offering show pointers and MUCH MUCH more!

Every year we have a goat field day for the kids taking goats as their 4-H or FFA project.

          The kids bring their goats to our farm and learn hands on how to wash, clip, trim hooves, deworm and even show!  Afterward we have hot dogs and chill out around a camp fire!   

             I started this because so many of the kids that were buying project goats from us didn't have anyone to guide them through the process. It  isn't hard to raise a market goat with a few pointers. So, thats what we give the kids;  guidance.  Plus I love working with the kids and their animals , especially when a first time shower gets out into the show ring and remembers what I have taught them about eye contact or on what side the goat is suppose to walk on.
