If anyone knows anything about boer goats they should know the name Don Smith. We had the opportunity to sit informally and listen and be quizzed by Don. He told us the story about bringing the first boer goats to the US and how he's still trying to breed for the perfect boer. What an amazing man and the knowledge; I wish I knew half as much as he's forgotten. An unforgettable time in BLoomsburg,PA
This is Classy Bella, She won Overall Reserve Grand Champion fullblood doe in the non-traditional show that Don Smith judged. I was so tickled that he of all people liked the looks of my Bella because she is my favorite of all the show does we have. I hope you see her again.
We placed 2nd in our class and reserve grand champion with The Black Pearl. She's a granddaughter of Eggsfile.
This is Big Joe Polka Show, my little buddy. He's a character, as you can see. We got a first place ribbon and I swear Joe was posing for the camera. What a natural show buck. He'll have to stay home and work one day , he has excellent bloodline and as you can see at 5 months he's got a lot of potential to be something great. On top he has Powell/Holman 2 SIS 151N *Ennobled* and on bottom Gatwoods Pontatoc *Ennobled is his grandpap.
Sierra received Grand Champion with Taylor at our preview show for the county fair. She is sure hoping for another grand champion at the Buckwheat Festival! way to go!

This proud young man is Warren Wright and he won reserve grand champion with a doe from Far View Farms!
Warren competes at the Garrett County Fair in McHenry , Maryland. He was also lucky enough to get her donated back to him so I bet he'll be on his way to being a goat farmer! Way to go Warren!
Above are sisters showing twin does, the girls and the goats are doing great for being their first show!
This is Anna, she doesn't even weigh as much as her goat but boy did she do great!
Below Sierra received Reserve Grand Champion market goat with her doe JO JO in 2008. Congrats Sierra!!! I'm so proud of you. She was also shocked to take both does home on sale night thanks to Nick Friend and Art Lipscomb. Now she plans to breed them and sell her own club goats this spring.
